The video we watched astounded me. I was amazed that Barack Obama got a great deal of his campaigning funds through many social networking cites. It changed my view of technology just in general, by how much of a massive impact it makes on people's lives. I didn't realize how much money went into the technology industry. The quote made about how Computers that took up buildings could now fit in your pocket, and someday will fit in your bloodcells. I think the technology in the story was a little extreme. If technology becomes smarter than the actual people that run them, it could become a problem. On the other hand, having individual computerized teachers for you personally would help you learn in a way that suits you best.

Computer technology should be used moderatley in the classroom. Although technology is a great investment in schools, it takes teachers and instructors to help students get to where they need to be on the internet. Of course there are not enough teachers to assist every single student in the classroom, which creates a stressed classroom. Students would learn better if the use of computers in the classroom were used less often. With the growing dependancy on the Internet, students are losing their interpersonal skills, or the ability to connect with people face to face. If computers in the classroom were used less often, and students were given written directions before Internet usage, I believe we would see a great increase in the understanding of assingments, and more success in the classroom. By decreasing the time spent with electronics, we are setting up students to be more successful in the real world, while allowing them to establish communication skills by learning in a face to face enviornment, rather than a face to screen.
